The Association believes academically and fiscally strong schools should be attracted, replicated and incubated; mediocre performing schools should receive quality training and support aimed at improving student achievement; and state authorizers should close chronically underperforming schools. The Association created the Arizona Center for Student Achievement to support charter schools achieve strong performance with comprehensive professional development, coaching and resources.
The Center developed a suite of supporting programs for schools which include: free professional development for Association member schools; customized professional development for teachers and leaders; data transparency and analysis; new charter development; and charter renewal support. Each program is based on current research and customized to meet the unique needs of participating schools. Find out more here.
