The Association works to protect facilities, funding and freedom for charter schools and students. All children in public schools should receive an equally good education, backed by similar, adequate resources. By the luck of geography, more taxpayer money should not flow to some public schools at the expense of others. The Association’s goal of providing equity for all public school students is being furthered through our advocacy efforts at the state capitol and through two separate legal cases which we have spearheaded on behalf of charter and district students. No child should be “worth-less’ than another. The Association’s advocacy arm will continue to work on narrowing the funding gap that puts some students at a disadvantage to others. Find out more here.
