Quality Education and Jobs initiative supporters filed a new lawsuit on July 25 against the Arizona Legislative Council, which decides the wording on publicity pamphlets. Earlier this week, Secretary of State Ken Bennett appealed to the Arizona Supreme Court, asking the court to overturn Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Robert Oberbillig decision to allow the 1-cent sales tax initiative on the November 6 ballot.
